The French authorities have evacuated some 3,000 individuals this Monday as a result of a fireplace within the Japanese Pyrenees, within the south of the nation and on the border with Spain.

The fireplace began round 5:15 p.m. native time within the metropolis of Saint-Andre and has affected 530 hectares of land, thus the cities of Saint-Andre, Sorède and Argelès, as reported by the Fireplace Division to the French channel BFMTV .
